System X LVP Warranty Terms

Coverage

System X expressly warrants to the vehicle owner that, for a period of three (3) years from the date of initial product installation, automotive interior surfaces and aviation interior surfaces that are treated with System X LVP Coating will be covered against food, drink, and bodily fluid stains. This Limited Warranty only applies to System X LVP Coating according to the terms and conditions contained in this agreement.

Warranty General Terms & Conditions

1. Initial application of product must be performed by a System X Approved Applicator.
2. Warranty coverage is only valid if the Approved Applicator has issued a Warranty Card, and on the condition that said Warranty Card has been registered within 30 days of application of the product.
3. The vehicle must remain registered for the entire period of the warranty.
4. Only vehicles registered as passenger vehicles will be warranted. Further, this agreement excludes vehicles used for commercial purposes at any time previous to, presently, or during the course of this warranty period.
5. Warranty is registered in the name of the vehicle owner and cannot be transferred.
6. System X must be notified in writing or via documented digital correspondence of any claim due to failure of product performance within 30 days of occurrence.
7. Any and all applications, repair work, or additional work on the coated surface must be carried out by an Approved Applicator.

Warranty Liability Limitations

This warranty shall not cover, nor shall System X accept liability for the following:

1. Hard water spots, marring, scratches, scuffs, scrapes, or other surface imperfections;
2. Pre-existing damage or deterioration.
3. Material types that are expressly excluded from this warranty, including but not limited to: Alcantara, natural wood finishes, dyed seats, carpets, textiles, instrument panels, and interactive computer screens.
4. Non-factory seats or aftermarket parts.
5. Use in non-automotive applications.
6. Unreasonable use of the product.
7. Unintended use of the product.
8. Faulty workmanship.
9. Any factory treated surface and/or deterioration thereof.
10. Any claim covered by vehicle manufacturer warranty.

Warranty Invalidations

Warranty will be considered invalid if any of the following general conditions occur:

1. Failure to follow requirements enumerated in any terms, conditions, or standard practices of this warranty.
2. Damage to the vehicle prior to product application.
3. Damage caused by manufacturer defects.
4. Damage caused by alterations or modifications to the vehicle’s interior surfaces.
5. Damage caused by third-party products, abrasive compounds or polishes.
6. Damage caused by or resulting from a collision or vehicle accident, and failure to re-treat or repair damaged surfaces.
7. Damage caused by willful abuse.
8. Force majeure events including, but not limited to, extreme weather, fire, flood, civil unrest, or any other cause beyond the control of the parties to this contract.
9. Failure to maintain the vehicle according to commonly held standards and techniques recommended by System X.

Limit of Claims

1. Claim determination is at the sole discretion of System X.
2. System X will, at its sole discretion, remove the stain, remove the coating, or refund the cost of the coating within stated limits.
3. Any dispute arising from these terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Hartford County, Connecticut USA. The involved parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of that county and state.
4. In the event of a warranty claim, this warranty is limited to the cost of the purchased System X LVP Coating or $250, whichever is greater.

Definitions

Approved Applicator – An independently owned and operated business / company that has been approved by System X or authorized distributor to apply System X products.

Geographical Limitations

System X only provides warranty coverage in the USA and Canada. If you reside in a country outside these areas, please check with your local distributor about warranties offered through them.
